2.The internal thread of locknut is damaged or hurt.
3.The external thread of spindle is damaged or hurt.
4.The internal thread of locknut and/or the external thread of spindle are/is not matched in spec. (LH or RH)
5. The internal thread shape of locknut and/or the external thread shape of spindle are/is not met the spec. |
1.Check the thread diameter by calipers.
2.Repair or de-burr by diamond file.
3.Repair or de-burr by diamond file.
4.Check the thread direction as to know whether it’s matched in spec or not.

2. The internal thread of locknut is damaged or hurt.
3.The external thread of spindle is damaged or hurt.
4.Short of lubricant.
5.Wrong tool to be used.
6.The setscrews are not loosened.
7.The locknut is wrong in spec. |
1.Clean by cleaner and air dry before installation.
2.Repair or de-burr by diamond file.
3.Repair or de-burr by diamond file.
4.Apply proper lubricant.
5.Adopt proper install tool.
6.Make sure the setscrews are loosened.
7. Select right spec of locknut.

3. Use torque wrench to make sure the setscrews are evenly tightened.
4.Repair or de-burr by diamond file.
5.Repair or de-burr by diamond file.
6.Purchase right spec of spindle. |
